New Doctor Who Information
The following information has been released from an
official representative of FOX:
"The only announcement made so far is our Fall schedule. Unlike
previous years, we have not announced our slate of back-up
programming, but we should know soon.
At that time, it will be easier to guess about The Doctor's future.
At this point, all we know is it won't be a series debuting this Fall
-- all other options are still plausible.
It could be a back-up series, or there could be more films.
More likely films than series, but it's all guesswork until the rest
of the schedule is announced.
Anyone who is claiming to know the fate of DOCTOR WHO is just a rumor
monger."
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (6/8/96)
"No news yet. Our back-up series will probably be announced next
Tuesday or Wednesday. If it's not a series, we'll need to hope for more movies.
The best method of getting a message across [that you want more Doctor Who]
is to write to FOX... I don't know who sees the internet
postings or if such postings are quantified."
